On December 4, Seabrook employees walked the "red carpet" as residents and their colleagues cheered and jingled noise makers at the community's annual Staff Appreciation Celebration. The annual campaign is a way for residents to show their gratitude to non-management hourly employees at the Erickson Living senior living community located in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. This year, residents raised $206,000 for the Staff Appreciation Fund.
At the festive event, residents expressed their appreciation toward employees and helped distribute donated funds to each eligible employee. At Seabrook, eligible employees may include the community's wait staff, dining associates, security officers, communication and administrative staff, banquet servers, maintenance workers, culinary team, housekeepers, Certified Medical Assistants, and Certified Nursing Assistants, totaling 628 staff members.
Fortune named Seabrook as one of the 2018 Best Workplaces for Aging Services. Additionally, Asbury Park Press readers voted Seabrook the “Best Adult Community,” and they voted its continuing care neighborhood the “Best Assisted Living” community in Monmouth County.
