Sal is also survived by his best friend and longtime partner in the Long Branch Police Department Jerome Hamlin, his wife Kathy and family.
Sal’s life can easily be summed up by his love for his wife Dolores, his family, the LBPD, the Yankees, the Giants and Notre Dame.
The Maccioli family would like to give a warm debt of gratitude to his loving step-daughter Barbara Stevens for the loving care she gave to Sal in the last few years of his life and to his beloved granddaughter Heather who not only helped her grandfather these last few years but was also his #1, as he called her.
