Soul Cruisers at Springwood Park - Asbury Park TONIGHT
Special Show Added at Springwood Park Tonight! Sensational Soul Cruisers hit the stage at 6PM

TONIGHT! Sensational Soul Cruisers will bring Soul back to Springwood Avenue
The first FREE music series on the West Side of Asbury Park in over FOUR DECADES.
August 23, 2016---The Asbury Park Music Foundation is excited to announce that another concert has been added to their Levitt AMP Asbury Park Music Series on Asbury's West Side. Tonight, local R&B legends, the Sensational Soul Cruisers will hit the stage at 6pm at the new Springwood Park on Springwood Ave. between Atkins and Union Aves. Bring out your chairs and blankets, free parking in the lot across from the park.
The Sensational Soul Cruisers are a 11-man classic R&B dance band with 4 killer upfront vocalists, a dynamic 3 piece horn section and a totally groovin' 4 piece rhythm section. While it is possible to find a band which features a similar line up of instruments and singers, it is unlikely that you will ever find another that performs classic Philly and Memphis Soul, Motown, Classic Disco plus the music of Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago, with as much energy, passion, and pure old school Showtime talent as The Soul Cruisers. Band leader, the legendary Jersey Shore sax player Screamin' Steve Barlotta, has been the driving force behind this fantastic ensemble for over 26 years and has catapulted them to over 200 performances a year while capturing the true essence of the Jersey Shore sound and its authentic R&B roots.
