Developer Supports the 27th Annual Independence Day Festivities – The Largest Celebration Held on the Jersey Shore

FEM South Beach Urban Renewal, LLC (FEM) is the official sponsor of the 27th Annual Oceanfest at Long Branch fireworks. The daylong event, taking place on Tuesday, July 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., is to be held at Long Branch’s oceanfront promenade. The celebration features the largest fireworks display at the New Jersey shore which will begin at 9:00 p.m. Beforehand, the entertainment schedule for children and adults features musical acts; magic and variety shows; costume characters; balloon artists and local merchants selling unique products.
“Over the years, we have grown family-friendly Oceanfest into a spectacular event that has changed the image of Long Branch and its people,” said Mayor Adam Schneider of Long Branch. “Now with FEM being the major sponsor of the display show and building such a beautiful residency, it is further evidence how far we’ve come.”
South Beach at Long Branch will have a table at the event offering free giveaways to visitors including a family beach membership, drawstring bags and beach balls. The seasonal event began in 1990, and the 27th anniversary of the gala’s inception attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the Mid-Atlantic region.

South Beach at Long Branch is rising on 1.69 oceanfront acres between Ocean Avenue and Ocean Boulevard, at the intersection of North Bath Avenue. The property is situated at the southernmost point of the city’s Beachfront South redevelopment area, just two blocks from Pier Village, a mixed-use oceanfront development, with additional proximity to West End. The property also benefits from public transportation as the New Jersey Transit Train Station is less than a mile from the site and a ferry station is located just over 8 miles from the residential development. The upscale condominium sales offices are situated at two convenient locations in the Garden State: on-site in Long Branch, Monmouth County, and for added convenience, a North Jersey location in Montville, Morris County.
