A Superstorm Sandy Recovery Horror Story In Long Branch
The state's Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation program has hurt, not helped Robin Buck and his family.

Robin Buck thought he and his family were on the road to recovery when he was told the state had approved him for a Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation grant back in the fall.
He was wrong.
Months after he turned his home over to a state-approved RREM contractor to lift the house, the family is still out of their house. The company not only failed to lift the house, it neglected to winterize the home. That led to more damage inside the house, which had already been repaired after the storm, according to a story on app.com.
