Thomas Caruso Jr. Of Long Branch Dies At 31

Services will be held on Sunday and Monday

Thomas Caruso, Jr., 31, of Oceanport passed away on April 18, 2016 at home. He was born in New Port Richey, Florida and resided in Oceanport since age 3. He studied at New Jersey City University. He was the owner of Caruso Construction and a Realtor associate for Re/Max Gateway.

Tom is survived by his parents, Thomas and Billie-Jo Caruso; grandmothers, Rose Colonie and Lucy (Caruso) Ross; loving sisters and brothers-in-law, Felicia and Tom Tvrdik, Daniella and Sam Dalia, and Nicole Sciacca; nieces and nephew, Cecelia and Thomas Ryan Tvrdik and Ginevra Dalia; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, and spending time with all his family and many lifelong friends. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his dog, Tyson.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.on Sunday, April 24 at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.,) in Long Branch. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. on Monday at St. Michael's Church in Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch.
