Reggae Rise Up has just announced the launch of their 2017 Artist Discovery Campaign. Starting on Monday, January 23rd, independent artists can register online for a chance to be selected to perform at Reggae Rise Up Florida on March 4th and 5th at Vinoy Park in Downtown St. Petersburg.
You can help send Overmind to perform at the festival, with a quick vote here! The band is currently in 29th place. Voting ends THIS SUNDAY!

This is the festival’s third year in Florida and features it’s most impressive lineup to date. Reggae Rise Up has succeeded in representing the wide-range of sub-genres that make up the reggae scene at large including: SoCal reggae-rock heavyweights Slightly Stoopid, Huntington Beach hip-hop/reggae hybrids the Dirty Heads, Jamaica’s roots revival champion Protoje, UK legends Steel Pulse, Hawaii’s Iration and The Green, hometown afro-pop/tropical indie-rock favorites The Hip Abduction, along with many more.
