Who Is Running For Eatontown Mayor, Town Council In 2022

EATONTOWN, NJ — Monday, April 4 was the filing deadline for NJ local offices and here is who is running for mayor and town council in Eatontown in 2022:

Eatontown Mayor Anthony Talerico Jr., a Democrat, will seek re-election. He will be challenged in the primary by Jasmine Story, also a Democrat. Story used to be an Eatontown councilwoman. She will now challenge Talerico to be Eatontown's mayor.

The primary will be June 7 and the election will be Nov. 8.

There are two seats up on the Eatontown town Council: Current Council members Kevin Gonzalez and Maria Grazia Escalante (both Republican) will seek to maintain some form of Republican power in Eatontown and will ask voters to re-elect them this year.

However, also running for those two seats are Virginia East, Meir Araman, Todd Miller and Angela Brunelli, all Democrats.
