WLBPD Increases School Security For Parkland Shooting Anniversary
West Long Branch put more officers in all schools on the anniversary of the Parkland school shooting.

Feb. 14 marks the somber anniversary of last year's school shooting at Marjory Stoneham Douglas High School. West Long Branch increased efforts to ensure student safety on this day.
The West Long Branch Police Department increased the number of uniformed and plain-clothes officers at all local schools for the Parkland shooting anniversary. Fourteen students and three staff members were killed in last year's massacre.
Today, students and staff will notice an increased presence of both uniformed and plain-clothes @WLBPD officers at all schools. The purpose is to provide a higher level of security on the anniversary of the #ParklandSchoolShooting pic.twitter.com/7zPwQJQAZu
