Young Eatontown Martial Artists Bring Home Gold To New Jersey
Four students from Eatontown Martial Arts attended the 2017 Taekwondo United Fall Nationals in Orlando, Fl. each winning Gold in Sparring.

On September 1-2, 2017, four students from Eatontown Martial Arts attended the 2017 Taekwondo United Fall Nationals in Orlando, Fl. Collectively, the children brought home a total of nine medals including each of them winning Gold in Sparring in their respective age groups.

Master Carlos Des Jardin is the founder and owner of Eatontown Martial Arts. He has an extensive background in Tae Kwon Do, Jeet Kune Do, Gracie's Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Filipino Stick Fighting known as Eskima, Kali/Arnis and other weapons.

Master Des Jardin opened his first school on August 1, 1998 in Long Branch, NJ. In June 2005, he out grew that location and relocated to a larger facility in West Long Branch where he and his team had another successful 10 years before the school’s plaza caught fire. It would be nine months later when he realized that plaza was not going to be renovated for a long time and on July 1, 2016 he relocated to the current location on 30 Lewis St. Eatontown, NJ.
Master Des Jardin remains committed to building and developing students of all ages into the best they possibly can be in a positive, safe and encouraging environment. He believes as a student trains to become a Black Belt Champion, he or she will experience progress, growth and change in the dojang (classroom) as well as outside the classroom in many areas of life.
