Details Revealed After Monmouth County Teen Girl Shot
Details were revealed after a young N.J. girl was a victim in a shooting overnight.
ASBURY PARK - A 15-year-old girl was shot amid gunfire in Monmouth County on Wednesday night, according to authorities.
The shooting occurred at approximately 11:05 p.m., when Asbury Park Police patrols were in the area of Washington Avenue and heard several gunshots in the immediate area, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
When officers arrived in the area of the Washington Village Apartment complex on Washington Avenue, they located a 15 year-old female with a gunshot wound to the leg, according to the MCPO.

A vehicle located in a driveway was also struck by gunfire and the Washington Village security booth was also struck. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for her leg injury.
