LONG VALLEY, NJ — Long Valley Middle School student Adam Dougherty was recognized at this year's Morris County Middle School Leadership Award Ceremony, according to the school district. The recognition highlights Dougherty as a recipient of a county-level student leadership award.
According to the school district, Adam's current goal is to complete high school and then attend college. He hopes to earn an advanced degree in the natural sciences or music.
After college, Adam hopes to pursue science as a career, specifically in marine ecology or ichthyology, according to the district. He also wants to spend time professionally playing music.
According to the announcement, the award is given to a graduating eighth-grade student from each school district in Morris County.
