15 Cars Broken Into On Christmas Night In Madison

An additional 5 car burglaries happened in Florham Park that same night as well.

MADISON, NJ— 15 different cars were broken into in Madison on Christmas night, police said.

The burglars looked through glove compartments and center consoles looking for valuables. All 15 of the cars were unlocked.

The burglaries were concentrated in one neighborhood, around the area of Tracey Lane, Troy Court, Madison Commons, Longview Ave, and Burnet Road. Five cars in the Florham Park section of Burnet Road were also broken into on Christmas night.

Madison Police remind residents to always lock their car doors to prevent car burglaries.
