$799K In School Admin. Salaries In Madison: See How It's Spent

MADISON, NJ - Superintendent and principal salaries continue to rise, and last year Madison taxpayers spent $799,884 on the superintendent and principals in their school district.

The Department of Education recently released its annual list of superintendents and principals and their salaries before the start of the 2018-19 school year. Some of the principals and superintendents listed may no longer be with their schools; this list was developed in 2018.

The Department of Education has said it double-checks the data before delivering it to the media.

The list below is the Madison principals and superintendent with their school, their school district, their years of service (which is surely a factor in their pay) and, finally, their salaries in 2018:

• Gregory Robertson, High School Principal, Madison High School, MADISON BORO, 30, $176,414
• Kathleen Koop, Elementary School Principal, Kings Road School, MADISON BORO, 18, $145,590
• Thomas Liss, Elementary School Principal, Central Avenue School, MADISON BORO, 15, $137,219
• Allison Stager, Elementary School Principal, Torey J. Sabatini School, MADISON BORO, 13, $123,400
• Ethel Minchello, Junior High School Principal, Madison Junior School, MADISON BORO, 0, $41,884
