Adult School Receives Grant From Madison Rotary for ESL Classes
Madison Rotary awarded local Adult School $1000.00 to continue to offer free ESL classes.
The Adult School is excited to announce that they have received a $1000.00 grant from the Madison Rotary Club. The presentation was made at a Madison Rotary Club breakfast meeting on June 15, 2017.
The Adult School will use this grant to continue to provide free English as a Second Language Classes (ESL) to students in the community to help them gain economic self-sufficiency.
Since 2013, The Adult School has offered 10 week classes at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. These free classes are offered in Madison during the day and in the evening.

With additional grant funding The Adult School was also able to recently offer free ESL classes in Westfield.
The staff and the Board of Trustees expressed their gratitude for the continued support of the Madison Rotary Club in helping The Adult School with this community outreach endeavor. The ESL students also expressed appreciation for the opportunity to improve their ability to speak English and indicated that these classes were helping them daily in their professional and personal lives.

The Adult School was founded in 1937 and was one of the first independent, nonprofit community education organizations founded in the State of New Jersey.
