MADISON, NJ - The Borough of Madison honored Barbara Heskins-Davis Monday evening for her work preserving open space and protecting natural resources in the region as she heads into retirement.
Heskins-Davis serves as Vice President of Programs at The Land Conservancy of New Jersey. She played a key role in several conservation projects that shaped Madison's landscape, including the preservation of Giralda Farms, the acquisition of the MRC property, the development of trails and ongoing efforts to protect the Drew Forest.
Borough officials thanked her for years of partnership and praised the lasting impact her work has had on the community.
“Her passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to conservation have left a lasting impact on our community,” the Township said in a social media message.
“We thank Barbara for her years of partnership and service, and wish her a joyful retirement filled with time spent with family and grandchildren.”
