Madison Implements Borough Wide Mandatory Watering Restrictions: What To Know

Residents are encouraged to conserve water by watering only when needed.

MADISON, NJ — To help conserve water and protect the community's water supply, Madison has implemented mandatory outdoor watering restrictions.

Properties with an odd-numbered street address may water outdoors only on odd-numbered calendar days.

Properties with an even-numbered street address may water outdoors only on even-numbered calendar days.

No lawn watering or sprinkler use is permitted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., regardless of your scheduled watering day.

Residents are encouraged to conserve water by watering only when needed, checking irrigation systems for leaks, watering during permitted hours, and avoiding unnecessary outdoor water use.
