MADISON, NJ — Aspiring comics can take the mic in Madison Wednesday night, while those who prefer to leave the jokes to others can simply sit back and enjoy the show.
The Comedy Open Mic runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Madison Community Arts Center, 10 Kings Road.
Hosted by Kara Fischer, the open mic is held every third Wednesday of the month. According to the event listing, everyone is welcome to test out new or old material or simply support local comics.
Sign-up begins at 7 p.m., followed by the show at 7:30 p.m. Each participant gets five minutes or more depending on turnout.
There is no cover charge, and the event is BYOB.
