IN SHORT
After one quarter the Dodgers had built a 3-0 lead and were ahead at halftime by a score of 4-2, but that lead was erased early in the fourth quarter as West Morris battled to a deadlock at 5-5. After a timeout call by head coach Mark Sweeney, the Dodgers rallied for three unanswered goals, providing the winning margin. Chad Smith tallied two goals in the final frame, but it was senior Brett Anton’s goaltending throughout that kept the Wolfpack at bay.

DODGER OF THE GAME
Brett Anton—
18 saves, and many of acrobatic variety. He only allowed five goals on the day and at least two of those goals were direct results of defensive miscues. The future University of Delaware Blue Hen made one save in particular that was remarkable, diving across an empty net to stop a point-blank shot.

OTHER KEY PERFORMANCES
Chad Smith (Madison), three goals, including two in the fourth quarter. When the Dodgers needed a goal, they turned to Smith; Kevin Reidinger (West Morris), four goals, including three in the second half as he nearly singlehandedly led the Wolfpack to victory.

THEY SAID IT
"[Brett Anton] was very good. Very good. He’s been doing it all year. We know he’s a good one. He had some pretty spectacular ones today, but we expect that out of him."–Head coach Mark Sweeney
