Local artist Laurie Harden will be showing her original oil and pastel paintings in an exhibition at Peg Williams Gallery, Short Stories Community Book Hub, Madison. The exhibition, entitled “Written in Paint”, are her portraits of familiar literary characters from many well read works, including Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird, Queequeg from Moby Dick and more.

Ms. Harden is an award winning artist, an art instructor, and an illustrator.
