Black Bear Spotted In Madison Tuesday
Authorities have asked residents to be cautious and to avoid approaching the bear if it is spotted.
MADISON, NJ — A black bear has been spotted in the area of Giralda Farms in Madison on Tuesday morning, according to police.
Authorities have said that the bear is not causing any harm, but residents are being asked to not approach the site.
The entrance to Giralda Farms Preserve and Trail is accessed via Woodland Avenue between Loantaka Way and St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center.

Residents are also advised not to feed, chase or interact with the bear. Residents should notify the police if the bear is displaying aggressive behavior.
Calls to Madison Police Department are asked to be made for emergencies only, police said.
