Power Restored In Madison After Transformer Blows
The power failure was in the vicinity of Niles Avenue, police said.
MADISON, NJ - A blown transformer robbed some Madison residents of power Sunday night, according to the Madison Police Department.
According to officials, the loss of power was in the vicinity of Niles Avenue. As Madison has its own electric utility, they were notified and the Madison Electric Department was able to restore power shortly after 12:30 a.m., according to officials.
“As of 12:39 AM Madison Electric Department has restored power to the Niles Avenue/Brooklake Road area following an earlier blown transformer. We appreciate residents patience & cooperation,” officials said.
