A series of burglaries to motor vehicles occurred Monday night throughout the borough, the said in an alert released Tuesday.
"Please lock your doors and do not leave vehicles running unattended," the alert stated. "In addition, please secure GPS units and other electronics in your home. Even if you have taken the GPS unit down, thieves may see the windshield mount or the suction cup marks on the glass and force entry to the vehicle if it's locked."
Police did not immediately respond to questions about the burglaries.
