A salute to Mom on Facebook
Happy Mother's day to all the Mom's. Lets put our Moms on Facebook.

Happy Mother's day to all the Mom's out there on this gorgeous day in Madison. It a great day for a stroll around Giralda Farms, enjoy an ice cream at , or maybe an Americano at . I have always loved Mothers Day because not just because I love early spring, but so that I can give my Mom the recognition that she deserves.
My early morning effort was to change my Facebook profile picture to a nice shot of Mom and myself. A simple effort that seems to be catching on today. I see more than a few of my friends online are doing the same. Take a moment to do yours, and send your mom a message about it. Maybe she will start her own FB page and hit you back. My mom joined FB last year. She is 86 and logs in on her iPad to look at all the family updates and photos. (Maybe she and I share a tech gene). She is delighted to be a part of the online social world. More moms are doing it all the time, so encourage yours to join in.
Today, Paul's wife, Shana, and I hosted a family brunch at our home for all the moms in the family. My beautiful wife, my mom, Phyllis; my sister, Judy, her two daughters, Christine and Samantha, were all in attendance. Husbands Michael, Matt and myself took special care of the young ones ( Delia, Ben, Fiona, Sarah Kate and Henry) all morning. That was easily accomplished by passing out our individual iPhones to each of the kids, who quickly became amused with a Star Wars light saber app. The older ones used the iPad to author random letters written in an unkown and obscure laungage for some of the adults. We hade a delightful time enjoying all the good food and family love. Lots of laughs and fun with four generations all together.
