DHHS Girls Swim Team Cruises Past Foran for a 6th Straight Win
The Daniel Hand Girls Swim team remains undefeated after their meet with Foran HS in Milford with a score of 95-86. Coach Lyman is very impressed with the “power and versatility” that this team is showing so early in the season.

The Tiger’s took 1st place in 8 of the 11 events. Most notably the first event, 200 Medley Relay led off with Megan Savage, Grace Hesse, Annie Kennedy and Team Captain Marissa Rossi finishing in 1st Place with a time of 2:06.28,. Followed by Caroline Wolek with an impressive win in the 200 Free of 2:06.11, with Freshman Sammi Crans taking 3rd place. Junior Annie Kennedy had an exciting 100 Fly event winning with a 1:07.43, Freshman Sammi Crans finished 3rd. More 1st place wins were achieved by Team Captain Marissa Rossi in an impressive 100 Free, Sophomore, Alex Wagner, had a resounding lead in the 500 Free, with Sophomore Nicole Harvey, new to the team, finishing with an impressive 3rd. Grace Hesse, Caroline Wolek, Marissa Rossi and Alex Wagner placed 1st in the 200 Free Relay. Tricia Hurst had a personal best for her 100 Back 1.10:29 with a very close, and exciting 2nd finish. Grace Hesse and Freshman Callie Weiler placed 1st and 2nd in the 100 Breast. Followed by the 400 Free Relay with a 1st and 3rd place finish. Go Tigers!
