Dodger baseball--the best-kept secret in town
What goes better with Memorial Day than baseball?

Other than the $7 pizzas on Tuesday nights at Main Street Subs, the best kept secret in Madison right now is the varsity baseball team. With yesterday's win over Morristown, the Dodgers sport a record 0f 19-8, certainly one of their best seasons in recent memory. They are led by a core group of seniors that have played together since Little League, where they had tremendous success as 12-year-olds. Throw in a talented bunch of underclassmen as well, and you have all the ingredients for a winning team. They have a solid lineup from top to bottom, play good defense, have good pitching and are well-coached, all the things this Mets fan wished his team had!
So today, why not start your Memorial Day weekend with a baseball game? The Dodgers are home at 4 p.m. playing Rutherford in the second round of the state playoffs. Bring a chair, enjoy the day and watch some great baseball. Plus, the tunes between innings are better than any local radio station. Come out and support your team; they've earned it.
