Intro to GETREALestateNOW

So I am sitting here figuring out how to start my first blog with the Madison Patch.  Now mind you, I have been blogging on the subject of real estate for quite some time and prior to that,  as well as continuing, to write press releases in various publications.  My writings have been promotional and informational.  I am a great believer of the power of the proverbial pen.  People still do read, just not as much at a time.  Especially in this area of want to know now!

Basically, we have taken the USA Today newspaper attitude when reading.  “All the news that fit to print in four paragraphs or less.”   It works because it fits into schedules, it fits on their smart-phones, it fits in their lifestyle. 

In the words of Sergeant Joe Friday, from the 60’s TV show Dragnet, (showing my age),  “Just the facts, ma’am.”   

And that is the premise of my blog, GETREALestateNOW.  It is here for buyers, sellers, renters,  landlords and fellow Realtors of residential and commercial real estate to let them know what they need to hear and not necessarily what they want to hear.  I look to be unbiased, as this blog is not to solicit my readers (although my office or myself would never turn away a reader to become a client), I have other blogs that take care of that, but to give you some hints in your real estate needs.  I will also be giving you some statistics, possibly some recent sales in town, market conditions, Realtor actions, and other real estate related topics.  Even some tips for other realtors in their everyday business. 

Because of the nature of the blog, it is interactive.  If you have a comment or a question of my weekly column or anything real estate related, whether you are working with another Realtor or not, (no Realtors names, please), do not hesitate to join the thread.  I will respond and if I do not know the answer, I will get it for you or send you a reference contact.
