Saturday morning brought the much anticipated start to the Madison Flag football program at the MRC. Players arrived early donned in their respective team jerseys and Velcro fastened flag belts to kickoff their season in front of a large crowd of proud spectators. The Madison fans weren’t disappointed as our players treated them to fine performances of running, passing and well- exhibited defensive skills learned through the many weeks of patient practices. The players, who range from K-2 grades, were excited and anxious to show their talents and fine sportsmanship, and every game came provided crowd pleasing finishes.
The flag program plays every Saturday morning at 9 at the MRC, so come out and watch your future stars excel on the field, it’s a great way to start the day.
