Tim Tebow Trade a Good Move for Jets
Get on board with the Tebow move, fans. It's a good thing.
As a 32-year season ticket holder of the Jets, I have seen them make so many questionable moves that I am probably immune to them by now. That being said, I am totally on board with the latest trade for Tim Tebow and I think that finally, the Jets will have the last laugh.
From a purely football standpoint, how can you not like it? The Jets gave up a fourth round pick, probably No. 100-110 to get him. Are there really that many better players in this draft than Tebow? I would argue that there might not be 35 better.
Tebow gives the team something they don't have now: somebody that the other team has to prepare for. Name me one player on the Jets that the opposing defense has to worry about ... still waiting. That's right, nobody. Tebow changes that immediately.

He brings two things to the Jets that they are woefully short of: a winning attitude and a "team first" mentality. Tebow is the type of player that will do whatever his team needs him to do to win. He's been a winner his whole life, and that type of infectious spirit is just what the doctor ordered for this team.
Bottom line, the Jets are a better team today with Tebow than they were this time last week. I, for one, am excited about the possibilities that he brings to the team, and am actually looking forward to the season, something that you don't usually hear Jets fans openly admitting.
