What keeps you in Madison?

There are many things that we complain about here in Madison, ranging from taxes, budgets, lack of nightlife, etc. But what is it about our town that keeps you here, and makes you want to stay here in the future? I'll list three that make me happy to be a "Madisonian," and I'd like to see your lists as well. This should be pretty easy to do, but if you do find it hard, then why are you here?

1) Excellent school system. Every year our graduates go to some of the best colleges and universities in the country, probably the main reason people want to move to Madison, and the biggest factor in our property values remaing fairly stable compared to so many other areas of the state.

2) Community pride. People in our town seem to genuinely care about one another, and try to support each other in many ways. If you care about you neighbors, you will work to make the community better.

3) Safety. Our police do a great job in keeping our town safe, and I never feel uneasy about being out at any hour of the day.
