CASA Raises Funds for Child Advocacy at Casino Night

CASA Casino Night raised unrestricted funds for CASA programs, and increased awareness of the plight of children in the foster care system

Morristown, NJ—On Thursday, April 27th, 2017 Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Morris and Sussex Counties held its annual gala event at The Park Savoy Estate in Florham Park, NJ. CASA Casino Night brought community members together for a fun-filled evening of food and games; funds raised will directly support advocacy for children in foster care. The event also celebrated CASA’s 30th year of bringing better tomorrows to the community’s most vulnerable children.

CASA’s mission is to speak up for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers work with the family court system to help place each child in a safe, nurturing, and permanent home.

CASA Casino Night raised unrestricted funds for CASA programs, and increased awareness of the plight of children in the foster care system. These children have been victims of abuse and neglect, removed from their homes and placed in foster care.
