Cast Your Vote For Your Favorite Madison Employee

MADISON, NJ - Maybe it is the server at your favorite eatery, or the teller at the bank or the clerk behind the counter of your favorite florist, but whoever gives you the best customer service the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce wants to know.

The Chamber is accepting nominations for their annual Extra Mile Award that recognizes Madison employees who provide outstanding customer service. These individuals are rewarded for that extra-special friendly and knowledgeable service, which truly makes a difference in a customer’s shopping experience.

"All Chamber award winners are chosen after much consideration by the Chamber's Board of the Directors but the 'Extra Mile Award' is the special exception to the rule because it is chosen by ballot by Madison customers," said John Morris, co-owner of Stewart-Morris Awards, Gifts & Flags and president of the Chamber. "We encourage customers to take a moment to fill out a ballot in order to recognize, support and celebrate their favorite, best retailers and service-providers. At the awards dinner presentation we do quote some of the best written ballots."

Nominations from the general public will be accepted until May 24. The winners will be invited to the Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner on Tuesday, June 4 at Brooklake Country Club, 139 Brooklake Rd., Florham Park. This event is the Chamber’s largest social event of the year, highlighted by a presentation of the Business Improvement Awards and other Community Service Awards, organizers said.

All nominations must be postmarked by Friday, May 24.
