Chamber Music Season Continues at Drew

Monday's concert to feature works by Beethoven, Schnitke and Schumann.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's season in residence at Drew University will continue Monday, Nov. 14 with "In the German Tradition," a concert featuring works by Beethoven, Schnitke and Schumann.

“In the German Tradition” will include Beethoven’s String Trio in G major, Op. 9, No. 1 (1797-98); Schnitke’s Moz-Art for Two Violins, after Mozart K. 416d (1976); Widmann’s Jagdquartett for Strings (2003); and Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat major, Op. 44 (1842). 

Pianist Wu Han, violinists Ani Kavafian and Arnaud Sussman, violist Paul Neubauer, and cellist Nicolas Altstaedt will serve as the evening’s performers.
