Chatham Boy, 11, Struck By Madison Driver Who Became Ill, Lost Consciousness
Reports: The driver expressed that he was suffering from a medical condition, possibly a cardiac condition.

An 11-year-old Chatham boy suffered serious injuries Friday afternoon when a Madison motorist who became ill and swerved onto the sidewalk, according to reports.
Mark Libbey, 67, was traveling on Hillside Avenue around 3:50 p.m. when his Honda Odyssey minivan turned onto the sidewalk and then a light pole, according to The Alternative Press.
Two children were walking by when the Odyssey went over the curb curb; one managed to get out of the way but the other was hit, sustaining injuries to his head and limbs, according to NJ.com.

A doctor who happened to be at the scene of the accident was treating the boy when police arrived, according to NJ.com.
