Coldwell Banker Realty Supports Local Hospital Workers

Coldwell Banker Realty Young Professionals Network Delivers Meals, Snacks And Supplies To Support Local Hospital Workers

MADISON, N.J. (July 16, 2020) – Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 over the last few months, Coldwell Banker Realty in New Jersey’s Young Professionals Network North group (CBYPN) started a fund to support the medical staff who are dedicating countless hours to those in need of medical assistance.

The CBYPN developed a plan that supported medical professionals as well as local restaurants by delivering food to local hospitals in need. More than $5,700 was raised in order to purchase meals and essentials supplies for healthcare workers at six hospitals across the CBYPN Northern region. Volunteers were able to serve over 400 meals and donate over 4,500 items to hospitals as well as donate $800 to local food pantry, The Center for Food Action.

“The hospitals were asking for items that they could keep in their break rooms for the healthcare workers so we provided them with cases of bottled water, mixed nuts bags, Clif bars, protein bars, ChapStick, trail mix, Kind bars, fruit snacks, Pirate’s Booty, candy and chocolate. Also, by purchasing meals from local restaurants, we were able to help them since they struggled during this time, as well. We also donated over $800 to The Center for Food Action in Mahwah,” said Joseph Sarkar, organizer for the CBYPN.
