The Torey J. Sabatini PTO held its annual fundraiser Saturday evening at Torey J. Sabatini Elementary School. The event, called "Jokes n' Notes", was an evening full of live music and stand up comedy.

The evening started with the mellow acoustic tones of Court and Spark, a Joni Mitchell tribute band led by Kathleen Wallace. They were followed up by Kings Road playing classic and alternative rock. The band was also part of the silent auction, donating a three-hour performance to the winner.

The highlight of the evening was a NY style comedy show featuring four comedians. The headliner was Kate Hendricks, a TJS alumnus noted for her performances on Bravo and VH1.

The silent auction had some amazing items up for bid including a Howard Stern Show Experience and Tour, tickets to TV shows for Jimmy Fallon, Rachel Ray and David Letterman, and a skating lesson with Olympian JoJo Starbuck. Unique local items also included a ride-along in a police car and a fire truck, a date night at Roots Steakhouse and Margaritas at David's Rumba Cafe.
