Dance Innovations Performance Foundation presents a benefit performance of "The Nutcracker in Wonderland: A Surprise Holiday Dance Journey

Dance Innovations Performance Foundation presents a family favorite holiday Nutcracker show and benefit on Saturday, December 6, 2014

The perfect kick-off for the holiday season, The Nutcracker in Wonderland: A Surprise Holiday Dance Journey, combines the timeless holiday tale of the Nutcracker with the characters & whimsy of the fairy tale Alice in Wonderland. The Foundation will present two shows at 1pm and 6pm on Saturday, December 6 at Morristown High School, 50 Early Street, Morristown, New Jersey. Uniquely blending these beloved stories, this original production is Dance Innovation Performance Foundation’s annual benefit for area children with special needs and circumstances.

This surprise holiday dance journey features a variety of dance styles including classical, contemporary, ballet, hip hop, jazz, modern and musical theatre. Guest artists include Eric Harper, Aurillion Peillux,

Dance Innovations Performance Foundation Company and over 100 young, talented dancers.

Tickets for the performance are $25.00 for general admission; $23.00 for adults 65 and older and children 10 and under.

The entire production is a benefit for the Dance Innovations Performance Foundation, Inc.; the Lance Corporal Vincent M. Sullivan Fund and the Kids for Kids Fine Arts Scholarship Fund. These organizations specifically address the needs of children who have special needs, are physically challenged, or whose families are experiencing special circumstances. There will also be a toy drive for area children, and an opportunity to sponsor a child or family to attend the performance for free at the sponsorship rate of $15.00 per ticket.
