The softball team built a 9-2 lead Tuesday but couldn't hold it as Hanover Park won in walk-off fashion, 10-9.

All signs pointed to a relatively easy victory for the Dodgers as they cruised to a 9-2 lead by the fifth inning of their game at Hanover Park. But the Hornets spent the fifth inning chipping away at the Madison lead and then tied the game on a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth. After being held scoreless in the top of the seventh, Hanover Park surrendered the final run, and the game, on a bases-loaded single.
