Puppy Pal of the Week: Collie Mix Sally Needs a Home
Home for Good Dog Rescue, Sally, a 1-year-old Collie/Beagle mix looking for her "forever" home.
Sally is a beautiful one year old Collie/Beagle mix. She weighs 30 pounds and is full grown. Sally enjoys the water and loves to swim. She plays well with other dogs and likes children.
Sally is a sweet dog; she likes to cuddle. For fun, she enjoys chasing after a ball, chewing on a bone or rope toy, and running around the yard with other dogs. Sally is easy going girl and would love to find a “forever” home. Sally is up to date with vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped.

Volunteering and Fostering Opportunities:
Home for Good Dog Rescue is always looking for volunteers and fosters. The Junior Volunteer program is open to teens, 16 years old and older. To find out more about volunteering or fostering visit the Home for Good website.

Saturday, October 4th at Petsmart – Watchung, 1515 Highway 22 West, Watchung, NJ, from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
HFGDR Festive Fall Dog Adoption Event at the Farm at Green Village:
The Farm at Green Village, 403 Green Village Road, Green Village, NJ from 11 AM to 4 PM
On Saturday October 11th, The Farm at Green Village will host a Home for Good Dog Rescue (HFGDR) fall themed dog adoption event at their 30 acre premier nursery and garden center. All are welcome to visit the farm to adopt a dog from Home for Good Dog Rescue.
The Farm at Green Village will be offering kid themed attractions such as painted pumpkins and a delightful array of animals including donkeys, chickens, peacocks, swans, ducks and bunnies.
Adults can shop the while they adopt and peruse the farm’s 30,000 sq. ft. greenhouse and garden center for festive Halloween decorations, mums, gourds and extensive line of garden accents available for every home.
About Home for Good Dog Rescue:
Home for Good is a volunteer-based, 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a 100 percent foster based organization with an office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from deplorable conditions in kill shelters, tending to their physical needs and finding them a new loving home where they can thrive.
At Home for Good, we seek the best treatment for our animals. We provide medical care, training, support and hope. Our dogs are vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. We rescue puppies and dogs that are facing euthanasia. Some require surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care for respiratory illnesses, skin infections, heartworm treatments, and emergency surgeries. Through our adoption services, these loving animals are given a chance at a fulfilled life.
