Drew University Kicks Off Eco Film Festival

Madison's Drew University will start their Eco Film Festival tonight with a showing of "More Than Honey."

Drew University’s Eco Film Festival will kick off tonight with a showing of “More than Honey,” a documentary explaining the vanishing population of our planet’s honey bees.

An estimated 1.5 million beehives have disappeared across the united states, with potentially disastrous ecological consequences, because bees pollenate nearly 80 percent of plant species, including many of the fruits and vegetables we rely on to eat.

The film will be shown in the Health Sciences Building at 7pm.
