Drink Tea For Dress For Success In Madison Friday
Dress for Success will honor Chatham's Better Schultz as part of their 20th anniversary celebration.

MADISON, NJ – After 20 years of of providing women with what they need for a job interview, Dress For Success is holding a celebratory tea and sweets event at its headquarters located at The Madison Community House, 25 Cook Ave., on Friday October 19 from 4 p.m to 7 p.m.
The program is in honor of the group's first suiting done 20 years ago and is a celebration of the date the very first client was served. In a suiting with Dress for Success, women obtain what they need for a job interview from clothing to confidence and can return once they find employment for the apparel and accessories needed to enter the workforce, members said.
At this special evening of networking and inspirational success stories, Dress for Success Northern New Jersey will honor Bette Schultz, a resident of Chatham. A former president of the board, serving on both the Advisory Board and the Board of Directors for eight years, Schultz recently retired from the Board.

Tickets for this fundraiser benefitting the organization are $50 which will include a fashion show with many of the clients as models and fashions designed by one of Dress for Success Northern NJ employees, as well as a three-course high tea—complete with scones, tea sandwiches and desserts and, of course, tea.
Organizers said they will have a tricky tray and everyone will leave with a gift bag. All money raised goes to promoting the independence and empowerment of women in the local community, organizers said.

Since 1998, Dress for Success Northern New Jersey has successfully helped to guide more than 10,000 women move into the workforce as they forge a new career path by providing them with business attire, skill building programs, tools, mentoring, and support. Dress for Success Northern NJ serves 10 counties including women in Bergen, Essex, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren.
