Driver Had Drugs, No License: Madison Police
Edwin G. Miralda-Barahona faces multiple charges, police said.
MADISON, NJ - A 25-year-old Morristown man was arrested and charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 1, according to the Madison Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Kyle McDermott stopped Edwin G. Miralda-Barahona’s vehicle on Madison Avenue for an equipment violation. Upon speaking with the driver, McDermott detected signs of drug use in plain view, police said.
After an investigation, Miralda-Barahonar was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Miralda-Barahona was further issued motor vehicle summonses for being an unlicensed driver and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, police said. He was later released pending a court appearance in Madison Municipal Court.
