Driver Smashed Light Post, Fled Scene: Madison Police
Pierluigi Prisco was also charged with drug offenses, police said.

MADISON, NJ - A 31-year-old Parsippany man was arrested after fleeing the scene of an accident on Dec. 28, according to the Madison Police Department.
According to officials, Patrolman Kyle McDermott was dispatched to Main Street andWaverly Place for a report of a motor vehicle crash where the vehicle left the scene. Upon arrival, McDermott spoke with the witness who reported a white Honda crashed into a light post and left east on Main Street.
Shortly thereafter, Corporal Bart Glab and Patrolman Timothy Battillo located the white Honda stopped several blocks away, with Pierluigi Prisco driving, police said. While speaking to Prisco, he admitted to the accident and upon further investigation he was found to be in possession of suspected THC oil and marijuana, police said.

Prisco was placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana wax over five grams, a 4th degree crime, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly person’s offenses, police said.
Prisco was additionally issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, failure to report an accident, and leaving the scene of an accident, police said.

He was later released pending a court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
