Police were called Wednesday morning at about 8:10 a.m. by Dr. Yusun Gohard, who reported a break-in at her dental office at 34 Prospect St.

Responding officers found debris on the ground outside the office and discovered that an air conditioning unit on the side of the building had been pushed in to gain access during the overnight hours.

A computer monitor and strongbox containing a small amount of cash had been taken, police said.

Police also discovered what department spokesman Lt. Darren Dachisen described as “ a very promising lead”—the burglar had dropped his wallet while allegedly committing the crime.

The wallet led police to the Madison residence of Nadeau, Dachisen said. Nadeau then led police to (removed) and Dougherty, Dachisen said. Det. John Miscia was the arresting officer.

All three men were processed at and released pending mandatory court appearances.

The men don't appear to be connected to the earlier this week, Dachisen said.

Police recovered the strongbox from the home of one of the suspects. A computer monitor taken from the dental office was found discarded in a sewer. The investigation is ongoing.
