Drug Arrest On Loantaka Way: Madison Police
John H. Busse was arrested after a motor vehicle stop, police said.
MADISON, NJ - A 45-year-old East Hanover man was arrested and charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 14, according to the Madison Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Kyle McDermott stopped John H. Busse’s vehicle on Loantaka Way for an equipment violation.
While on the roadside, McDermott detected an odor of burnt marijuana inside of the vehicle, police said. After an investigation, Busse was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe, police said.

He was placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, both being disorderly person’s offenses, police said.
He was later released pending a court appearance in Madison Municipal Court.
