Drug Arrest On Madison Avenue: Police
Charles R. Curto was charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop, police said.
MADISON, NJ - A 48-year-old Morris Township man was arrested and charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop on March 23, according to the Madison Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Kyle McDermott stopped a vehicle on Madison Avenue that Charles R. Curto was travelling in for an equipment violation.
Upon speaking with the occupants, McDermott detected signs of drug use in plain view, police said. After an investigation, Curto was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and THC oil, police said.

Curto was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to surrender controlled dangerous substance to law enforcement, police said.
Curto was later released pending a court appearance in Madison Municipal Court.
