Drunk Driver Had Cocaine: Madison Police
William E. Cullen was arrested after a motor vehicle stop, police said.
MADISON, NJ - A 26-year-old Morristown man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 16, according to the Madison Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman stopped William E. Cullen’s vehicle on Ridgedale Avenue for a moving violation. Upon speaking with Cullen, Dunn detected signs of impairment and asked the driver to perform field sobriety evaluations, police said. Cullen was also found to be in possession of suspected cocaine, police said.
He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, 3rd degree possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Cullen was later released to a friend pending his court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
