The first winter storm of the season has shortened the school day for Madison students.

MADISON, NJ - The school buses will be headed home sooner than usual Thursday as the Madison School District has scheduled an early dismissal in response to the anticipated inclement weather. Lunches will not be served and students are encouraged to pack a snack and water, officials said.

According to the district website, Madison High School will dismiss at 12:06 p.m., Madison Junior School at 12:25 p.m. and Central Avenue School, Kings Road School and Torey J. Sabatini School at 12:45 p.m.
