MADISON, NJ — An early morning fire damaged a local home on Monday, Madison officials said.
A passing driver reported the fire at 59 Pomeroy Road before 5 a.m. on Monday. About 40 firefighters responded to the fire, which was under control by 6:40 a.m.
The home was undergoing renovations at the time, and no one was home or injured in the fire. Officials say the blaze was not suspicious in nature.
