A Weekend of Whimsies-Woodworking! Saturday, November 5th & Sunday, November 6th 1 PM - 3 PM
Saturday: Children and their families will have the opportunity to create their very own old-fashioned homemade toy, inspired by the whimsical animal toys of Ken Olsen. Participants will be making snakes out of wooden spools and string, and then have the chance to decorate their new toys. Sunday: Teens and adults can make and decorate whimsical folk art sculptures of animals, real or imaginary, using an assortment of wooden pieces, letting the different shapes inspire their creations.
